The Keys . . . sunsets to remember~!

I just got back from a vacation in Key West.  As I was driving up the Keys, I captured this sunset with my iPhone and had to share.

Korry and Michael : Savannah Wedding Photographer

For those who know Korry & Michael, you really don’t need me to tell you how WONDERFUL or how AMAZING they both are because you already know. Anyone who doesn’t know them can just look at the images I took from their Engagement Shoot and you can see the happiness and the love they share. You will also see one adorable little kid named Stella.  I was blessed to document their wedding day this past weekend.  Below is just a preview of some of my favorites images from the day.

I just loved Korry’s poofy white wedding dress.  It was beautiful on her and she was STUNNING in it.

Korry’s veil and belt . . .

This garter held a very special and sentimental value to both Korry & Michael.  It had belonged to Michaels’ Mother, who has passed.  Michael’s Dad gave it to Korry to wear on her wedding day.  What an honor and because I saw the tears as Korry spoke about it, I know she was truly touched by his kind gesture.

I know this is a silhouetted photo, but it is one of my favorites.  I love the simplicity of it.  Also, for some reason in this photo Korry really reminds me of Audrey Hepburn from Breakfast at Tiffanys.   Elegant & sophisticated~!

Here are a few of the images from Korry & Michael’s “First Look”.  I will elaborate on a Bride & Groom doing a “First Look” in a later post, but basically it is images we take before the ceremony.  There are a bunch more awesome “First Look” photos in the SLIDESHOW (link at the bottom of this post) . . .

Love this photo~!

Love. love. love it.

My AMAZING 2nd shooter, Shannon, captured so many awesome images, but this is one of my favorites.  You can see the Spanish Moss hanging in the background and one of the Savannah Trolleys passing by . . . a classic Savannah scene.

Maybe it’s the wind blowing the veil or maybe it’s the gorgeous hair style or the fact that this was just a random candid photo, but something about this image makes me smile.

And then came these flowers.  Oh my gosh….the GORGEOUS flowers by Barbara Jean just made my camera melt.  Absolutely one of the most beautiful bridal bouquets I’ve seen. love love love~!

I seriously love ALL of Korry’s friends & family.  Everyone in her bridal party was willing to strike a pose (with attitude) for a few photos.   It just made things more FUN.  Thank you all~!!!!

I can’t just brag on Korry’s friends & family, I must include Michael’s FRIENDS & FAMILY TOO~!  Everyone here = AWESOME~!  Thank you guys for being so great for photos.  And PS . . . I was happy to see so many Georgia Bulldog fans among you.

Korry and Michael and their precious little girl, Stella~!  Stella was happy & excited.

These three little ones were ADORABLE~!!!!!

This is a cup that was hand carved by Michael’s Dad, Steven.

Korry . . . you were one STUNNING bride.

You sure are beautiful, even when you are goofing around.  PS . . . did I mention I love FUN brides?  Girl you are awesome~!

Michael, thanks for just standing still and looking cool for my photos.  Hey, you were FUN too . . . smile smile.

WIth you guys I never knew what to expect, so you will notice a mix of perfectly posed photos and some silly shots too . . . and I am smiling as I write this, because I LOVED each and every photo I took of you both.

Skipping now to the reception, here is a cute photo of Stella with her Mommie & Daddy.

And YES there were SPARKLERS for Korry & Michael’s exit~! yay yay yay~!

Korry and Michael : Savannah Engagement Photographer

Korry and Michael are two amazing people.  When I met Korry for coffee a couple weeks ago, we talked about a bunch of ideas for their engagement shoot.  (fyi : I love when my clients want to get creative and make things fun.)  So we planned an engagement shoot/picnic in the park/family photos/some live music and laughter . . . lots and lots of laughter.  It was very cool.  Korry and Michael brought their little girl Stella along for a few photos.  And Michael brought a guitar and gave an impromptu concert which everyone loved, even random people walking by were stopping to listen and watch.  When Michael started playing and singing, Stella was trying to dance and clap her hands.  So cute.  That baby already knows how to groove.

So here are some of my favorites from Korry and Michael’s Engagement Session . . .

Here is Stella.  She was ADORABLE~!  Also, a BIG THANKS to Korry’s sister, Kassy (and her husband Justin) for coming along to help out with Stella when I didn’t need her for photos.  And for helping to make Stella laugh.

I love this photo.  Stella is probably thinking “Crazy lady with the camera, why are you taking so many photos of me & when does it stop????” ha ha ha.
Simply put, we had FUN~!  It’s not often your fiance can romantically serenade you in the park and a ton of people are watching.
I love the way the light is hitting the far side of Korry’s face.  Plus she just looks really HAPPY~!
LOVE this photo~!  Michael, you ROCK~!
And this photo has to be one of my MOST favorite images. It’s just perfect to me.
And what is a picnic without some champagne?
 Love . . .  love . . .  LOVE this pic.
Just a couple photos of Stella.
And Stella eating a cookie, which I think is absolutely HILARIOUS~!!!
Here is Stella laughing at her Aunt Kassy,  clapping her hands and still eating a cookie.
Stella had these adorable little tights with a bear on her butt.  So cute~!
I smiled so big when I captured this photo of Michael and Stella laughing.  It is AwEsOmE~!
No kids were harmed in the taking of these photos . . . ha ha.  However, a shoe was temporarily misplaced.  LOL.
A nice couple was walking their doggie and Stella wanted to get down and say Hi . . .

A last photo with Stella.  NICE~!

hellllooooo BEAUTIFUL~!  I am soooo very excited about your wedding next month.  I can’t wait to photograph you in a poofy princess wedding dress.  (smile smile)

Thank you guys for being so much FUN on your engagement shoot.  There is no charge for the entertainment, I double as a photographer and a comedian…ha ha.  Just Kidding~!!! I wanted you both to know that I had a blast~

Even though I didn’t get this image in focus (probably because I was laughing too) . . .I still kept it because I love Korry’s great big beautiful laugh~!

Thank You Korry and Michael for trusting me with your very special day next month.  Look below for a link to the slideshow.
