Tara and Rocky | Wedding

I am so happy and excited to share some of my favorite photos from Tara & Rocky’s ceremony in Forsyth Park.  We spent time taking photos around the park and then headed to Ellis Square for a few.  I had so much fun with these two.  We laughed and hung out like we had been friends for years.   Although they are not from the Savannah area, they certainly felt right at home in this romantic city.

I posted this photo out of order, because it is one of my favorites from the day and I had to begin with it.   There is something about the connection between them, the way she is holding her dress and the water dancing in the background . . . all these things just make the photo perfect to me.

Tara’s beautiful arrangement of white roses, white calla lilies, hydrangeas and blackberries was done by Peacocks on 37th.

Rocky’s boutineer and Tara’s wrist corsage were both handmade by PRINCESS LASERTRON designs.  The vintage felt and button bridal pieces were something I’ve never seen, so unusual and so beautiful.

Tara also wore her Grandmother’s antique ring.

The colorful fall leaves provided an amazing background, it was so calm and peaceful in the park.  I purposely asked Tara to give me some simple photos where she wasn’t smiling.  I wanted these images to reflect the tranquility that surrounded us and she was gorgeous.

I took this side profile shot to show off Tara’s hair style.  Very elegant Tara.

Rocky, thanks for participating for my photos.

In this shot, you can see the fountain in the background as well as a very tall palm tree . . .

Tara borrowed her beautiful veil from a friend and ask me to make sure and get a photo of it.

Sometimes a quite moment makes for a nice image.

The ceremony was officiated by the Rev Steven Schulte in front of the beautiful fountain in Forsyth Park.

I always like taking photos on the benches in the park.

Tara . . . you are gorgeous.

Another FAVORITE . . . I waited for just the right moment when the interactive water fountain burst up.  This required Tara & Rocky kissing multiple times, which I don’t think they minded at all.  It was worth it to get this shot.

Love it!

I had so much fun shooting Tara & Rocky in front of the interactive water fountain at Ellis Square.

Tara & Rocky stayed at the amazing AVIA hotel in downtown Savannah . . .

We took a quick photo with the hotel in the background.

Thank You Tara & Rocky for trusting me to capture your love . . .
