It’s definitely ONE of the most celebrated holidays in the beautiful city of Savannah, Ga.  St Patrick’s Day.  And there is GREEN everywhere.  If you’ve been here, you know what I am talking about.  GREEN GREEN GREEN . . . EVERYWHERE!  There’s painted green faces, green shirts, green beads, green shoes, green glasses, green beer . . . the water in the fountains is green . . . people dye their dog’s hair green, their kids hair green and even their own hair green & green beards too!  Green shammock shakes, green ice cream, more green food, green lipstick, green nail polish, green hats – lots of green hats . . . well, I think you get the idea.  The city is a blanket of green.  It is truly a beautiful site to see, even for me after all these years.

So to all my friends here, be safe & I hope to see you out.  To those who came before, but couldn’t make it this year . . . well, you’ll be missed.  And to those who are new to St Patrick’s Day in Savannah, WE welcome YOU & hope you will respect our city & LOVE it as much as we do.
