That’s RIGHT…I GOT PUBLISHED…yea yea yea! Savannah has a new bridal magazine called “something blue” and it is already getting lots of great reviews. I have never submitted any of my photos for publication and I was very nervous about meeting with the publisher. However, within minutes I felt like I was sitting with an old friend chatting away. His name was Scott Decker (CEO/Publisher) and he is the brilliant mind that started the magazine.

The waiting game…6 weeks felt more like 6 months, then finally I got word that the new issue was released. I spent hours riding around looking for a copy. I know it sounds a little dorky, but I was so very PROUD and so excited that my images…yes “my images” were chosen. I couldn’t wait to see them in an actual magazine and I’m sure I looked obsessed as I grabbed copies…not one, not two, but SIX copies of the new issue. I got chill bumps as I turned the pages and saw my photos, it was this incredible feeling of accomplishment. I resisted the urge to get out of the car and do my “happy dance”…out of fear that people might point and laugh, so I waited until I got home. 😉 ha ha. Here are a few pics I wanted to share.

Yea…my photo. This is Ashley and she is one of the most amazing people I’ve had the pleasure to photograph. Her face graces my website and my bridal galleries. She is beautiful, kind and she is simply a wonderful person. This photo of her was one of my favorites…

This was a short bio they included and of course I used the photo of Mocha & I.

Here’s a photo from Amy & Wayne’s wedding. Her ring was insanely GORGEOUS. Now that is definitely what I call some nice “bling”.

I just wanted to share some of my joy with all my blogger friends and the fellow photographers who inspire me & offer encouragement. I know some people would not think this was a “big deal”, but to me it is. 🙂 It it the first time I’ve seen my photos in a magazine and it was a “GREAT” feeling!
