WEDDINGS FOR WARRIORS | Amanda & Jason

Yesterday I volunteered for the Weddings For Warriors Project.  It was an amazing day.  So many volunteers came out to help with the weddings & vow renewals and say THANK YOU to members of our military.  Here are some of my favorite photos from the wedding of an awesome couple that I was blessed to photograph.

AMANDA & JASON : WEDDING : JAN 16, 2013

Their ceremony was at the Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church . . .

I just love this shot I got outside of Amanda’s dress.

The brides were getting ready at the American Legion upstairs in the ballroom.  I used a background of stacked chairs to get this cool shot of Amanda’s shoes.

Volunteers from 40 Volume Salon were there to do hair.  They were amazing!

Make-up artists from Mary Kay were their volunteering their time & talent.

This is Amanda’s step-daughter, Dawn and she was super sweet.

I love the light in this church . . . gorgeous.

After the ceremony we headed over to Calhoun Square for some photos of the new Bride & Groom, Amanda & Jason.

The beautiful rose bridal bouquets were done by the amazing Vicki Sepielli & staff at her very respected Savannah floral shop, Kiwi Fleur.  Vicki has been a part of the project since it started and she gracious helps every year.

I also got a few shots of Dawn and the rest of the family . . .

The reception was at the beautiful Morris Center . . .

Love this shot of Amanda dancing . . .

There were so many wonderful people & organizations who volunteered and helped out with the project, but I don’t have all their names.  For more information check out the website that Becky & Jim Byous (the organizers who started the project) have set up : WEDDINGS FOR WARRIORS

And lastly, THANK YOU JASON and ALL the members of our MILITARY who keep us safe and free every day.  I just wanted to express my appreciation & gratitude to all the members of MILITARY and their families for their dedication and all the sacrifices they make for our great country.  THANK YOU ALL~!!!
