My bride & grooms are GORGEOUS! Here is just a sneak peek, I’ll have a full blog post this weekend to share. Hope you guys are enjoying your honeymoon in Antigua. (take pics…hee.hee)
Several things I am not shy about :
- my obsession with STEVE JOBS & all things APPLE . . .
- my passion for PHOTOGRAPHY & all things CANON . . .
and
- my love for NASCAR and all things DALE JR ! ! !
Here are a few photos I took earlier this month at the Coke Zero 400 in Daytona. McDreamy, McHottie . . . meet McAWESOME!
The experience was sooooooo memorable because for the race JR was driving the #3 car in memory of his Dad! Here is JR qualifying, he appropriately qualified in 3rd position (which told me this day was going to be lucky).
The Nationwide Race was on Friday night and the fans (including me) went INSANE when JR pulled into first position. We all stood up the last 26 laps which JR led and with hearts pounding, JR took the checked flag for a very emotional WIN!
It was a good day & a great race . . . I was able to catch up with him & quickly got my hat signed. This makes lucky hat #3 for me.
Congrats to JR on such an AMAZING race and a well deserved victory!
I have lots more photos to share for any Nascar fans interested. Will be posting next week.
PS . . . Thanks TOM – YOU ROCK! (and Meg . . . U know I LOVE YA GIRL)
I picked him up on Oct 22, 2006….exactly 8 weeks old to the day, because that’s the earliest Jamie & Kim will let me take him away from his birth mommie. We marked him with a special little colored yarn collar that said I had picked him and NO ONE else could have him. I waited patiently and at 8 weeks exactly I drove eager to get him. Weighing in at 1.5 lbs, this tiny black & tan Yorkie, (that I choose to name “Mocha CoCo McDaniel” because he reminded me of chocolate for some reason) . . . came home with me. 1.5 lbs of AWESOMENESS that would change my world. I have way tooooooo many photos to share on the blog of how I’ve documented his life, but I did want to share a couple. Earlier today I wanted to get a few photos because his hair color is changing again and it amazes me how this has happened several times over these 5 years. (His hair color changes almost as much as mine . . . ha.ha.)
Mocha at 8 weeks old . . . first day as part of our family. (all black & tan like his puppy dad)
He kept this basic look for a little while . . .
Then he started to get some grey . . .

And then more tan came out . . .
Then he got all this silver, like his birth mommie. Gorgeous I think, but then if he were rainbow colors I would think he was perfect. Funny story to add : I once had a little girl ask me if he was a very old puppy because he was grey like her grandmother…ha.ha.
Now he is starting to get BLACK back into his hair color. One stripe that runs horizontal across his back. It is too cute. Oh what color will he be when he turns 5 in August??? ha. ha.
happy Friday!
