It was a weekend of bad weather and race delays because of the rain.  But overall it was a weekend of FUN~!  I still had a blast at the Daytona International Speedway for the Daytona 500.  Here are a few images I captured at the Nationwide Race.

Here is the pace car bringing the cars around.  Notice Danica Patrick in the #1 position.  She got the pole in qualifying.

And my FAVORITE driver, Dale Jr drove the #5 TaxSlayer car in the Nationwide Race.  I took many, many, many photos of his car.  Click here to see a couple photos from last year’s Nationwide Race.

This is a photo of the Sprint Vision board.  It shows Jr’s in car camera.  I just love his gloves.  They are simply the COOLEST ever~!

Pit stop action . . .

This is right after Danica got wrecked.  Sad face.

Jr is absolutely the best drafter at Daytona.  Looks how close he gets.

At this point Jr took the lead and you can see all the fans starting to cheer.  (including me)

There were several wrecks in turn 4 near the end of the race.  Below are two photos in a series of this wreck.
