This blog post is about the Bingham Family . . . Ashley, Mike and their daughter Josie.  Ashley is pregnant with their second child and we mix a family shoot and maternity shoot together.  I am so excited to share some of the images.  This was the first time Josie had been to the beach and she loved it.  I can’t remember the last time seeing a little kid so excited about the beach, a girl after my own heart.  Right after Josie got comfortable with the sand and water, she decided to chase some of the birds.  She was adorable . . .

Josie even started picking up shells . . .

Josie loved the sand.  She was very happy to sit down for some photos.  And she also told me several times things like “I love the beach” or “I love the sand” or “I love the water”. . . she was so excited through the whole photo shoot.  I am so glad that I got to document her first time at the beach and all her great reactions.

I love how the sun was hitting the sea oats and reflecting a golden light.  It made for some beautiful maternity photos.

Definitely another one of my favorite photos.

The tide was low at the time of the shoot and I absolutely loved the landscape of the beach.  It was a little muddy and sinky (yes I made up that word to describe how our feet would sink down), but very cool.  Thank You Ashley for trusting me and agreeing to walk out into the muddy area to get these beautiful images . . . definitely some of my favorites~!

I think Josie loves the beach as much as I do . . .
