SEAN, MELANIE & DEBIN

This definitely gets an A+++ for “fun shoots”…these three were like kids on a sugar-rush having a play date. I laughed & laughed and tried keep my mind on the shoot, but found myself distracted at times. Sean’s son, Debin, has a unique and amazing personality, but most of all he is hilarious to be around. He is definitely the joker of the bunch. Debin was so easy to photograph, when I asked for a serious shot, he gave it to me. I have some great photos of him “goofing off” at the bottom of the post because sometimes he just couldn’t contain himself.

As for Melanie & Sean, they are so incredible together and that made photographing them a breeze. I know showing affection is sometimes hard when you are in public and especially when you have a camera in your face…ha.ha. I encourage my clients to relax and be themselves, but I know sometimes this can be hard. With these two…it was easy. The first photo is one of my MOST favorites of the entire day.

I try to get a mix of posed stuff and candid shots, but mostly my plan is simple : to capture the connection that is between a couple. I try to let my images reflect what others see when a couple is together. It’s a connection that they may not realize themselves. Whether it is love, happiness, a romantic glance, holding hands or whatever…other people can read your emotions by the way you interact. With Sean & Melanie, these emotions were filled with Beauty & Love & Laughter….lots of laughter. Thank you guys for trusting me to document “your connection”…

This next image is another one of my most favorite shots. I believe you can just look at this photo and feel “happiness”. Laughter is one thing I dearly love when photographing people.

Here are some of my favorites of Debin. He laughs, he smiles and he stops on command…ha.ha. He was awesome to photograph with his great sense of humor and fun attitude. He made me happy just hanging out with him.

It was very chilly out this day, but Sean, Melanie & Debin were all so awesome to brave the wind at the beach for a few photos.

I like this image and how Melanie was looking at Sean…however, I remember she broke into laughter right after I snapped this one.

For someone who hates having his picture taken, he doesn’t look miserable at all…ha.ha. Great pic Sean and “thank You” for accommodating my requests.

I think that some of Debin’s personality for kidding around comes from his Dad…

To end my blog, I wanted to share some more photos that shows the fun and laughter that was present throughout the afternoon. I try to keep my shoots from ever getting boring, but it really helps when my subjects are all so hilarious.
