I seriously can’t say enough great things about Rebecca & Michael. Their kindness and generosity blew me away. I truly understand why they are loved by so many people and why so many traveled all the way to Key West to help them celebrate their marriage. Rebecca & Michael had a beautiful wedding at The Ernest Hemingway Home. It was truly a magical night, the outdoor reception had so many amazing details : bistro lights hanging from tall palm trees, candles on the tables, but my favorite detail was the lighted chandeliers hanging from the trees as if they were simply floating. Romance filled the air as wedding guests danced the night away, outside under the stars in a magnificent setting. And I am sure Hemingway himself was probably there in spirit enjoying a good cocktail on the side lawn. Cheers Ernest . . .here’s to Rebecca & Michael.
Here are just a few of my favorites photos from the day. Starting with this vintage inspired wedding dress. WOW. simply wow.
I just love their Key West themed wedding invitations & save-the-date cards.
Rebecca’s bridesmaids tied a small photo of her Grandmother on her bouquet.
Gorgeous bouquet of flowers by Duarte Floral Design . . .
A wedding in the Hemingway House Garden as the sun slowly set. It was breathtaking.
And I just love this shot of Michael. He was so HAPPY to marry the love of his life and it showed.
After the ceremony, we wandered the grounds at The Hemingway Home to get some photos and I just fell in love with the property and all the photo opportunities it offers.
love this pic.
The Hemingway Home has very distinct colored shutters, so I wanted to include them in some photos.
Another favorite of mine is this photo showcasing Rebecca’s veil and the back of her vintage styled lace Wedding dress. I just happened to find a spot on the upper balcony of the Hemingway Home where I could capture some palm trees in background.
The smile on Rebecca’s face is priceless as she engages in conversation with her NEW husband.
Wedding Party Photos in front of the house was a must. Such an AWESOME group of family & friends in the wedding party.
This photo to me was all about the intense way Rebecca & Michael were consumed with each other “at this very moment”. It was almost like they didn’t notice anyone else that was around them. Intense-love it.
Rebecca & Michael opted to do a First Look and this allowed us time before their Wedding Ceremony to hit some really cool places in Key West. Here is just another one of my favorite photos. We stopped by the “painted post card sign” on the side of the Cuban Coffee Queen brick wall. This location is a huge photo magnet for locals and tourists alike . . . I am so happy it will be a part of Rebecca & Michael’s memories.
I just could not resist a shot with palm trees near the beach area. Palm trees just make me happy.
And the kind people in line let us jump in to grab a quick photo at The Southernmost Point of the U.S.A. LOVE IT~!!!!
These two cuties melted my heart . . .
Cool shades dude.
You guys just looked amazing ALL day.
The details just made me so happy.
I can’t express how much I love this photo~!! Normally I stay away from kissing photos, but this one (when they were having their first dance) got automatically put on my FAVORITES list. I love the lights in the background.
And YES, I shot Rebecca & Michael to the right side of the photo. I wanted to document the elements of their outdoor reception. Chandeliers, candles & string lighting, all these details were just lovely . . .
The Hemingway House will even throw in a free six-toed cat, if you have a wedding on their property. JUST KIDDING~!! The Hemingway House will NOT give you a cat…I repeat, The Hemingway House will NOT give you a cat. [ha.ha.ha.]
Dance time = FUN.
And a Grand Sparkler Exit was a perfect way to end a PERFECT WEDDING DAY~!!!!!
My deepest APPRECIATION and THANKS to the AMAZING team of creative entrepreneurs that made this day go so smoothly and beautifully. I hope my photos reflect all the hard work, energy and artistic design that went into Rebecca & Michael’s Wedding.
