Kari and Johnathan | Wedding

Kari and Johnathan said their “I dos” at the Isle of Hope Baptist Church surrounded by friends & family.  When I shot their Engagement Session back in March, I knew these two would be fun on their wedding day.  Throughout their entire engagement session, they laughed, smiled & joked with each other.  Their “love” connection was set up by mutual friends and has been going strong ever since the first date.   I think their close friendship has made the foundation for their love stronger.  Kari and Johnathan = Friendship + laughing + smiling + LOVE!

Kari’s day started really early as she got ready at her parent’s house.  Next door at her Grandparent’s house, hanging from the ceiling, is the famous “hook”. It has held the wedding dresses of several of the women in Kari’s family, so it only seemed appropriate that her dress would hang here as well.

Love their rings!

Kari you are gorgeous!!!  I know your smile is going to bring Johnathan joy every day for the rest of your lives.  Kari’s make-up & Wedding Coordination was done by “Natalie Moore”.  Thank You Natalie for connecting with me throughout the day.  You rock girl!

Johnathan’s face lights up as he sees Kari walking down the aisle.

On her wedding day, Kari had her Dad and her Grandfather give her away.  It was a very touching moment in the ceremony!

During the wedding some amazing music was played by Tom Moore (Saxophone) and Carlos Ferreira (Piano).

From shooting their Engagement Session to shooting their wedding . . . these two have been ALL SMILES since the first time I met them.

A fabulous cake by the “Cake Corner”.  Simple with elegant details showcasing Kari’s colors & flowers . . .

Beautiful details were everywhere.  “Josh Grotheer” of Josh Grotheer Designs did a FABULOUS job with all floral arrangements.

Hydrangeas were used in the bridal bouquet, center pieces and other enormous floral arrangements.   Everything looked amazing!

I love the use of brown & green colors throughout the reception.  Wedding favors were done by “Lynn Bigbie”.

Catering was done by “Paul Kennedy” . . .

A few images outside the church in the courtyard . . .

During their first dance as husband & wife, Kari & Johnathan paused for a quick kiss . . .

Even after a long day, Johnathan still could not keep his eyes off his new bride . . .

Still smiling . . .

A couple last “Thank You’s” . . . to Renee Moore, much appreciation for helping organize things for all the family formals.  Your thoughtfulness & willingness to help was overwhelming.  And a huge Thank You to my friend & fellow photographer, Shannon Byous for helping with some 2nd shooting.  As always, I love & respect you girl.

Lastly . . . To Kari & Johnathan, THANK YOU both again for trusting me to capture the special moments of your wedding day.  I wish you both all the love & happiness that life has to offer!  Thanks to ALL your FAMILY & friends for treating me with such kindness!  much love…cassandra
