When you hear people speak fondly of Savannah, you will almost always hear a reference to “The Fountain” at Forsyth Park. It is a beautiful and magnificent site and quite a breathtaking place for a wedding. When Denise told me this was the place that her & Rick had chosen for their special day, I immediately knew it was going to be wonderful. The weather was perfect and Denise seemed to float on air as she walked under the huge Oak trees. Their branches were gently blowing in the breeze and were covered by another familiar site, Spanish Moss. It was a perfect day and a perfect place for a wedding. As Denise walked down the long wide pathway, no one saw the fountain, no one saw the Spanish Moss in the Oak trees and no one noticed all the tourists stopping to watch. All eyes at this moment were on Denise. Rick got this huge smile on his face as she approached and she returned his smile with a smile of her own. And yes, it was a perfect day for a wedding.
I had so many favorites, here are just a few.
Rick and Denise gave Lia a heart necklace during the ceremony. Later I heard someone say she was telling people that she would wear this at her own wedding one day. Ahhhh…too sweet.
This was the first shot I took in a series of photos with Denise and the guys. This was also the most hilarious part of the day because these guys were super funny.
Yes, those are rabbit ears behind her head…ha ha.
As you can see, the guys were totally doing a variety of poses. They definitely get the award for “The Best Improvisation Shoot” EVER! I ask for funny, but I got….ohhhhh so much more. Thank you guys for being such good sports with all this. Thanks for making Denise’s day just a little extra special with lots of laughter. You guys all Rock!
I guess Rick was feeling a little left out with Denise getting all the attention…ha ha.
Not to worry Rick…you’ll get your turn…ha.ha.
I love the way Denise smiled at Rick the entire day. It was like she was looking at him for the first time.
An absolute favorite of mine…
I placed the rings in the bouquet of Hydrangeas…beautiful!
Denise was beyond glamorous, she was smiling and glowing the entire day. Another favorite!!
Dancing to the sweet sounds of Moon River Productions. Tom Crenshaw did a fabulous job and after the traditional first dances, he kept the dance floor full all night long. His music was a perfect blend and variety of tunes…great job Tom!
