Happy Memorial Day 2011

Today, as every day, I am so proud to be an American.  Proud to live in a country that gives us so many freedoms.  I respect those who’ve made sacrifices for these freedoms & the families and friends that constantly support them.  People like my Great-Grandfathers, my Grandfathers, my Uncles (some I never met because they were killed in action) and also my cousins . . . all these family members have served in various branches of the military and I am proud of them.

BUT today, I will mostly remember My DAD!  He proudly served in the United States Air Force!  I remember stories of his service during the Korean War.  I remember hearing about the importance of patriotism and stories about the many sacrifices that were made.  So today, Memorial Day 2011, I want to proudly share my love & respect for MY DAD on my blog!  He served his country PROUDLY and HONORABLY.  So to all those military personnel, past & present, I THANK YOU and your families.  THANK YOU for the freedoms you provide for ALL Americas.  THANK YOU for all the sacrifices you’ve made.  THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

In Honor & memory of My DAD . . .
