Palermo . . . Italian pronunciation : [paˈlɛrmo].  For me, I had the most difficult time saying this simple word . . . Pa-lair-moe.  Pa-lay-mo.  Pa-larrrr-mo.  Uggggggg! But I eventually got it right.

Located in the northwestern region of Silicy, it was well worth the travel time from Catania.  So much beauty that again, I feel my images do not appropriately represent this amazing city.  I had such a wonderful time and as you can see, I had camera in hand the entire trip.  I hope you enjoy browsing some of the photos I took.  Here are some images from the Cathedral of Palermo.
