Here are a few more random photos that I wanted to share from Puerto Rico. The first images are from Palomino Island again, this was such a fun little island. Several different days we walked down to the marina and boarded the ferry for a refreshing 10 minute ride over to this private island. It was a really cool experience, even the day we hiked the mountain.

There were several rabbits running around, but I only got a few photos. These rabbits were pretty fast…ha.ha. I know that sounds cliche´ but it is true. They would take off and run every time I tried to get a picture.

And of course, my most favorite was this guy. I posted a photo of him on an earlier blog, Iguana. He was so gentle as I snapped some pictures. I had my 85mm 1.2L, so I did not crowd him while taking any photos. I respected his space and he seemed cool with me & my camera. He was eating part of this bush when I grabbed this shot. You can see part of the leaf in the edge of his mouth.

Here are a few photos I took around El Conquistador Resort. The grounds are beautiful with amazing flowers, plants and buildings…not to mention the breathtaking views every direction you looked. Here is a shot of their zen garden area. I think it works, I felt completely at peace…

I believe these were orchids that were tied to the trees and grew out. I think that is correct, but I apologize if I am mistaken about my plant knowledge. Either way, they were beautiful and we saw them everywhere and in many different colors.

Random paintings…I love ALL art, not just photography. I was drawing and painting before I was taking photos. 😉

The architecture was fascinating and the design details were very interesting. Just another form of art that always catches my attention.

This area was really amazing…this wall had water running down it. My sign is Aquarius, so I love anything that you add water too….ha.ha. Seriously though, I LOVE water. I love to drink it, I love to swim in it and I love to see it…hear it…and smell it. I especially love the freshness of salt water at the ocean…very peaceful & relaxing.
