Recently the beautiful city of Savannah, GA was given the honor to welcome a group of Tall Ships. Savannah was one of the few cities chosen to host these ships on their race up the east coast. These Tall Ships were participating in the 2012 Tall Ships Challenge. Here are a few of the images I captured at Old Fort Jackson as the Tall Ships were leaving Savannah . . .
There were rain storms all behind me and along the river. It made for some interesting photos as the ships passed.
This, of course, is not a Tall Ship. It is Savannah’s very own River Queen, which provides Riverboat Cruises along the Savannah River.
Here is the “Bounty” and was probably my most favorite Tall Ship. It reminds me of a Pirate Ship.
I love this photo. The sun briefly peeked out among all the dark rain clouds.
Two more groups of photos to come this week. Hope you enjoyed these~! Cassandra-M (Cassandra M Photography LLC : www.cassandra-m.com)
